House Cookbook
Can you recommend a beginners Cookbook?
I just moved out of my parents house and apparently I’m now responsible for feeding myself. Does anyone have any recommendations for a beginners cookbook? I need a beginners cookbook b/c I don’t know even the basics… what type of pans (or whatever) go in the stove or what food gets baked.. etc. I’m a sad sad person

I would suggest going to www.bettycrocker.com and in the top right corner you can order cookbooks, magazines, and also you can sign up for mailing lists etc. My first Cook Book was a Betty Crocker one and it is very simple to read, and understand. These books are made for beginners and have many types of recipes in each book. You might want to pick up a cheap pot and pan set so you are ready to go. I would suggest getting a knife block as well. They have them at all retail stores and you can get the ones that have measuring spoons and cups. Good Luck.
